About Rebecca

I am award winning Batemans Bay photographer Rebecca L. Henderson and I specialise in Weddings and custom Portraits ~ in particular Newborn, Child, Family, Maternity and Engagement portraiture.

My aim is to capture and reflect the true essence and personality of my Clients, and to produce for them images that will be treasured for a lifetime.

Not only servicing Batemans Bay but the South Coast towns of Milton, Mollymook, Ulladulla, Moruya, Tuross Head, and Narooma and all the beautiful little areas in between. I am also happy to travel to all other areas by special arrangement.

I was born in Sydney and moved to Batemans Bay with my family as a youngster. I love the beautiful town that is home and having lived in the Bay for over 20 years, I am familiar with the scenic places that can be the perfect backdrop to your wedding day images.

I have enjoyed photography for as long as I can remember, and have always had a bit of an 'eye' for composition. I have fond memories of my father with his SLR camera and brown leather camera case. One of my first memories of actually taking my own photos was on a visit to Taronga Park Zoo and photographing the various amazing animals at around six years of age. Photography became a real passion for me as an adult, and then my career following the birth of my first child. I have studied a Diploma of Professional Photography, along with hours and hours of practice and research to really hone my craft, and would classify myself as a pre-dominantly 'self-taught' photographer. I am very proud to say I am now a locally recognised and award winning photographer.

I am married to a wonderful man and mum to two children, and balancing family life with the love of my work can be crazy at times, but I enjoy the fact that I can run my business from home and also be with my children at the same time. I feel very priviledged to be a part of a couple's special day, or to capture a moment in time through a family's portraits.
